BRIEFLY ABOUT THE NEW REGIME:
- From 01.04.2021. The Republic of Croatia to all passengers traveling to the Republic of Croatia from one of the EU / EEA Member States (regardless of citizenship) who are not on the so-called green list, allows entry into the country with:
- negative PCR test or rapid antigen test on COVID-19 not older than 48 hours (counting from the time of swab collection to arrival at the border crossing).
In the case of a rapid antigen test and a stay of more than 10 days in the Republic of Croatia, the traveler must retest the test by the tenth day from the date of issue of that test.
- vaccination certificate for persons who, more than 14 days ago, received a second dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Exceptionally, in the case of a single-dose vaccine, an acknowledgment of receipt of a single dose if the dose was received more than 14 days before the date of crossing the state border. presentation of a certificate confirming that the person has recovered from COVID-19 virus infection after having previously passed a positive PCR or rapid antigen test, this certificate being valid no earlier than the eleventh day from the date of arrival of the positive test and no later than the 180th day from the day of the first positive test.
- or performing PCR testing or rapid antigen testing on COVID-19 immediately upon arrival in the Republic of Croatia (at its own expense), with the obligation of self-isolation until a negative finding arrives. In case of impossibility of testing, a measure of self-isolation is determined for a period of ten (10) days.
- Third-country nationals will be allowed to enter the Republic of Croatia if they also meet one of the above four conditions of entry and additionally present a certificate of paid accommodation in a hotel, camp, private renter or rented vessel and other form of tourist accommodation or own a house or boat. in the Republic of Croatia.
- Important: according to the new regime of entry into the Republic of Croatia, children under the age of seven traveling with a parent / guardian are exempted from presenting a negative test result and self-isolation if parents / guardians have a negative PCR or rapid antigen test, or confirmation of vaccination or overdose. Passengers from countries included in the list of countries of the Croatian Institute of Public Health to which special epidemiological measures are applied are required to:
- present a negative PCR test result that is not older than 48 hours and they are assigned the necessary measure of mandatory self-isolation for 14 days;
- the duration of self-isolation may be shortened if the person, at the earliest on the seventh day of self-isolation, performs PCR testing on COVID-19 at his own expense in the institution authorized to perform the testing and if the test result is negative.

CONDUCTING TESTING ON COVID-19 DURING THE EASTER HOLIDAYS:
