Kaštel Pension & Restaurant is situated in a peaceful part of western Istria, in the picturesque village of Kaštelir, 7km north-west of the popular seaside resort of Poreč. It is a traditional Istrian house, built in the characteristic Mediterranean style, which blends wood and stone to great effect. It is situated in the center of the village. The building has been renovated and restored, but the old stone walls and the wooden beams from the 18th century have been left, offering you a holiday in Kaštel under the historic roof of an original Istrian house. There is a restaurant on the ground floor of Kaštel. The restaurant offers carefully selected Istrian cuisine, made from seasonal produce, which is skillfully prepared and gives a true gourmet experience with a selection of Istrian wines. There are 4 facilities available for the guests, equipped with private bathroom(shower), air conditioning, tv/sat, wireless internet. Each room is specially furnished with traditional, often antique, furniture. A lot of attention has been paid to the many details. To make your stay even more special there is the option of room service. Enjoy breakfast in bed! Other facilities: common veranda with tables and restaurant with a la carte menu and local specialities, often using ingredients from our family farm. We represent and rent the hotel without charging the commission-fee and additional costs, at the hotel's price.
